Surat Al-`Aşr (The Declining Day) - سورة العصر

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

[In the Name of ALLAH, the ENTIRELY MERCIFUL, the ESPECIALLY MERCIFUL]

103:1

وَالْعَصْرِ

Pronunciation

WalAAasr

Translation

By time,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

By Time! — or [it ‘asr can mean the period] from the declining of the sun to sunset, or [it may denote] the afternoon prayer.

103:2

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

Pronunciation

Inna al-insana lafee khusr

Translation

Indeed, mankind is in loss,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

Verily man (al-insān: the generic) is in [a state of] loss, in all his bargaining,

103:3

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

Pronunciation

Illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati watawasaw bilhaqqiwatawasaw bissabr

Translation

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

except those who believe and perform righteous deeds, they are not in [a state of] loss, and enjoin one another to [follow] the truth, faith, and enjoin one another to patience, in [maintaining] obedience and in refraining from [acts of] disobedience.

I am just an ordinary person who has nothing but the courage to post and publish The HOLY QUR'AN. I am afraid of ALLAH [Subhaanahuu Wa Ta'ala]'s predestined punishment for changing or modifying or adding any single words to the Verses of The HOLY QUR'AN.

And These "The HOLY QUR'AN" is the Final Revelation of ALLAH [Subhaanahuu Wa Ta'ala]; revealed through Archangel Gabriel ('Alayhis-Salaam) to the Final Prophet Muhammad [Salla'Allahuu Alayhi Wa-Sallaam] for entire mankind and living being as a right path and guidance.

My job is to post it for everyone and for every people from different religion as a resource [so if anyone seeks for the truth or if they want to find the reasons of this life or if they searching for the inspiration to live this life and to make this life worth full in best way]; so that they can find it easily from These posts on "Translation of The HOLY QUR'AN". Whether that person will accept or deny it, it's up to that person.

And I'm not asking you to be sold, if you want to ignore or deny any of ALLAH [Subhaanahuu Wa Ta'ala]'s favor which bestowed upon you, you can do it if you wish; and it's only you who have to take the responsibility of your own deeds. And I have the responsibility of my own deeds.

May ALLAH be with you, to show you the right path that is what best I can pray for you.

About Me

I am nothing worthy to mention; except the fact that-

1. I am a servant of ALLAH [Subhaanahuu Wa Ta'ala]. To WHOM it does not matter who is rich or poor, black or white, good looking or ugly, intelligent or unwise and to WHOM only thing count is self-righteousness of a person.

2. I am a follower of my beloved Prophet Muhammad [Salla'Allahuu Alayhi Wa-Sallaam].

3. And a child of my Parents.

And I Am Proud To Be A Muslim.

"From ALLAH, With ALLAH, For ALLAH, To ALLAH."

"O ALLAH! I seek protection in YOU from that I should not join any partner with YOU and I have knowledge of it. And I seek YOUR forgiveness from that which I do not know. I repent from it (ignorance) and I reject disbelief (kufr), and joining partners with YOU (shirk), and of falsehood (kizb), and back-biting (ghibat), and innovation in religion (bidat), and tell-tales (namiimat), and bad deeds (faawahish), and the slandering (buuhtan), and the disobedience (maaasi), all of them. I submit to YOUR Will and I believe and I declare: There is none worthy of Worship except ALLAH Muhammad [Salla'Allahuu Alayhi Wa-Sallaam] is the Messenger of ALLAH."

Tribute To

"O' ALLAH, bestow YOUR Peace, Mercy and Blessing on our beloved Final Prophet and on (his family and his companions and his followers). And on every Prophet, and on every Angel, and also on every righteous servant of YOUR whoever testify that, 'there is none worthy of Worship except ALLAH') from the beginning of YOUR Creations till the establishment of the Resurrection after death and the final Judgment of YOUR Creations complete by YOU.

Indeed! O' ALLAH, All Gratitude, Glory and Praise are due to YOU, YOUR Name is the Most Blessed, YOU give life and cause death. OWNER of Majesty and Honor. And there no might and no power except with YOU. And whatever is in the Heavens and whatever is on the earth and in between them belongs to YOU; and to YOU is our final destination; the SOVEREIGN of the Greatest Throne and all Creations. Indeed! There is none worthy of Worship except YOU, the ONE Alone, without partner, the EVER-LIVING, the SUSTAINER of [all] existence, the ENTIRELY MERCIFUL, the ESPECIALLY MERCIFUL."
