A Message to My Muslim Brothers and Sisters Around the Globe
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
[In the Name of ALLAH, the ENTIRELY
MERCIFUL, the ESPECIALLY MERCIFUL]
All Gratitude, Glory
and Praise are due to ALLAH [S.W.T], LORD of the worlds.
O' ALLAH, bestow
YOUR Peace, Mercy and Blessing on our beloved Final Prophet and (his family and
his companions and his followers). And on every Prophet, and on every Angel. And
also on every righteous servant of YOUR whoever testify that, 'there is none worthy
of Worship except ALLAH') from the beginning of YOUR Creations till the establishment
of the Resurrection after death and the final Judgment of YOUR Creations complete
by YOU.
I am a servant of
ALLAH [S.W.T], calling you my brothers and sisters no matter wherever you live;
in the Name of your LORD step forward and form the line shoulder to shoulder.
This message is for
my those Muslim brothers and sisters around the Globe who has the willingness but
did not yet started to spread the Words of Islam and the Good news of Islam to those
who has not been informed yet.
Be determined to
start inviting our non-Muslim brothers and sisters to the Truth. In reality most
of them have not even been informed yet. So it is became responsibility for us to
at least inform them about it. Whether they will accept it or deny it, it’s up to
them. ALLAH [S.W.T] gave all the mankind to have the privilege of freewill; so no
one has the right to take it away from one another. For what purpose that person will use own freewill they have the right to decide it for themselves. As the reward/punishment
of a person will only be shared with by that person own self, so the decision is
also for one-owns.
"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind.
You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in ALLAH. If only
the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among
them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient."
ALLAH [S.W.T] address
us the follower of Last Prophet [S.A.W.S] as the Best of the followers, for which
we are so proud of. Nevertheless, we also should not forget all the sacrifice of
Islam, all the hurdle that all the servants of ALLAH [S.W.T] had faced starting
from the first human and Prophet Adam to till the Last Prophet Muhammad and so on
[Peace Be Upon Them All]. Moreover, we should not forget to acknowledge all the
Blessings and the Favors of ALLAH [S.W.T] which had been bestowed upon us until
our last breathe and Hereafter. That is what makes our responsibility much greater,
more passionate, and precious to us. Hope you did not forget-
"But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort
due to it while he is a believer - it is those whose effort is ever appreciated
[by ALLAH].
To each [category] WE extend - to these and to those - from
the gift of your LORD. And never has the gift of your LORD been restricted.
Look how WE have favored [in provision] some of them over others.
But the Hereafter is greater in degrees [of difference] and greater in distinction."
"And who is better in speech than one who invites to ALLAH
and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims.""
Now to those who do not know how to start, read carefully. You can start from
little talk by letting them know the Message which we Muslims know and believe-
“I
bear witness that none is worthy of Worship but ALLAH [S.W.T], the ONE Alone, without
partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is HIS servant and Messenger.”
Let them know it,
and then you can explain. You recite by yourself The HOLY QUR'AN with meaning and trust me Insha'ALLAH
you will know what you have to do.
You can inform them
by chatting with them or by e-mail or by blog. You may also as
an invitation send them this link address ===} How & Reasons to Convert/Return
to Islam and Become a Muslim. But make sure one thing when you communicate
with them please try to do it politely. We always have to prove to ourselves that
we are modest in every possible way; starting from the manner to every righteous
thing. And if they starting to break the level of modesty then ask them to be modest
too as you are; Insha'ALLAH they will understand.
Now, I do not know
what aspect our beloved Prophet [S.A.W.S] in his Last Sermon said-
“Hurt no-one, so that no-one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet
your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds.” But I like this statement
very much and I try to keep it in my mind always.
When you are inviting
someone, do not force them to accept your invitations. Invite them like you really
mean it. For example- if you are inviting someone for dinner, whether that person
will accept or deny your invitations it’s up to that person, you just cannot force
that person to accept it. Now, the invitation you are going to give them is much
greater than this example and you are bound to show more modesty than usual. Decency
is must.
If they do not accept;
then don’t be disappointed your job is to just inform them about the Truth. If anyone
accepts it is better for that person's own sake and if anyone rejects then that
deed is also for that person. You are just doing the assignment which ALLAH [S.W.T]
appointed on every Muslims who are not afraid of anyone except their CREATOR. So
complete your assignment sincerely.
Well, I would like
to end this message here, by praying- 'May ALLAH [S.W.T] be with us and Protect
us and Help us and Guide us to do righteous deeds and Bless us to hold firmly the
Straight Path of Islam till our last breathe and Hereafter.'
Wherever you may
be- 'Be Truthful and have Patience and Remember ALLAH [S.W.T] often whenever you
can'.

Selected Hadith as a Glad Tidings and Instructions for
You
Sahih Muslim: Chapter 13, Book 32: Virtue, Good Manners And Joining Of The
Ties Of Relationship, Number 6246:
Abu Dharr (R.A) reported:
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] as saying that
ALLAH [S.W.T], the EXALTED and GLORIOUS, said: MY servants, I have made oppression
unlawful for ME and unlawful for you, so do not commit oppression against one another.
MY servants, all of you are liable to err except one whom I guide on the right path,
so seek right guidance from ME so that I should direct you to the right path. O
MY servants, all of you are hungry (needy) except one whom I feed, so beg food from
ME, so that I may give that to you. O MY servants, all of you are naked (need clothes)
except one whom I provide garments, so beg clothes from ME, so that I should clothe
you. O MY servants, you commit error night and day and I am there to pardon your
sins, so beg pardon from ME, so that I should grant you pardon. O MY servants, you
can neither do ME any harm nor can you do ME any good. O MY servants, even if the
first amongst you and the last amongst you and even the whole of human race of yours,
and that of jinns even, become (equal in) ALLAH [S.W.T] conscious like the heart
of a single person amongst you, nothing would add to MY Power. O MY servants, even
if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours
and that of the jinns too in unison become the most wicked (all beating) like the
heart of a single person, it would cause no loss to MY Power. O MY servants, even
if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours
and that of jinns also all stand in one plain ground and you ask ME and I confer
upon every person what he asks for, it would not in any way, cause any loss to ME
(even less) than that which is caused to the ocean by dipping the needle in it.
MY servants, these for you I shall reward you for then, so he who deeds of yours
which I am recording finds good should Praise ALLAH and he who does not find that
should not blame anyone but his ownself. Sa'id (R.A) said: That when Abu Idris Khaulini
(R.A) narrated this hadith he knelt upon his knees.
Sahih Bukhari:

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "When ALLAH [S.W.T]
Created the Creation, HE wrote in HIS Book--and HE wrote (that) about HIMSELF, and

Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 8, Book 75: Invocations, Number 417:

[S.W.T] has some Angels (P.B.U.T) who look for those who celebrate the Praises of
ALLAH [S.W.T] on the roads and paths. And when they find some people celebrating
the Praises of ALLAH [S.W.T], they call each other, saying, "Come to the object
of your pursuit.'" He added, "Then the Angels (P.B.U.T) encircle them
with their wings up to the sky of the world." He added. "(after those
people celebrated the Praises of ALLAH [S.W.T], and the Angels (P.B.U.T) go back),
their LORD, asks them (those Angels (P.B.U.T)) - though HE knows better than them----'What
do MY slaves say?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) reply, 'they say: Subhan ALLAH, ALLAHU Akbar,
and Alham-du-lillah, ALLAH [S.W.T] then says 'Did they see ME?' The Angels (P.B.U.T)
reply, 'No! By ALLAH [S.W.T], they didn't see YOU.' ALLAH [S.W.T] says, How it would
have been if they saw ME?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) reply, 'If they saw YOU, they would
Worship YOU more devoutly and celebrate YOUR Glory more deeply, and declare YOUR
freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.' ALLAH [S.W.T] says (to the
Angels (P.B.U.T)), 'What do they ask ME for?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) reply, 'They
ask YOU for Paradise .' ALLAH [S.W.T] says (to the
Angels (P.B.U.T)), 'Did they see it?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) say, 'No! By ALLAH [S.W.T],
O LORD! They did not see it.' ALLAH [S.W.T] says, How it would have been if they
saw it?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) say, 'If they saw it, they would have greater covetousness
for it and would seek it with greater zeal and would have greater desire for it.'
ALLAH [S.W.T] says, 'From what do they seek refuge?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) reply,
'They seek refuge from the (Hell) Fire.' ALLAH [S.W.T] says, 'Did they see it?'
The Angels (P.B.U.T) say, 'No! By ALLAH [S.W.T], O LORD! They did not see it.' ALLAH
[S.W.T] says, How it would have been if they saw it?' The Angels (P.B.U.T) say,
'If they saw it they would flee from it with the extreme fleeing and would have
extreme fear from it.' Then ALLAH [S.W.T] says, 'I make you witnesses that I have
Forgiven them."' ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] added, "One of the
Angels (P.B.U.T) would say, 'There was so-and-so amongst them, and he was not one
of them, but he had just come for some need.' ALLAH [S.W.T] would say, 'These are
those people whose companions will not be reduced to misery.'"

and said, "ALLAH [S.W.T] ordered (the appointed Angels (P.B.U.T) over you)
that the good and the bad deeds be written, and HE then showed (the way) how (to
write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then ALLAH
[S.W.T] will write for him a full good deed (in his account with HIM); and if he
intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then ALLAH [S.W.T] will write for
him (in his account with HIM) (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times
to many more times: and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do
it, then ALLAH [S.W.T] will write a full good deed (in his account with HIM), and
if he intended to do it (a bad deed) and actually did it, then ALLAH [S.W.T] will
write one bad deed (in his account)."

of MINE. And the most beloved things with which MY slave comes nearer to ME, is
what I have enjoined upon him; and MY slave keeps on coming closer to ME through
performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till
I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense
of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with
which he walks; and if he asks ME, I will give him, and if he asks MY Protection
(Refuge), I will Protect him; (i.e. give him MY Refuge) and I do not hesitate to
do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death,
and I hate to disappoint him."

thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers ME. If he remembers ME
in himself, I too, remember him in MYSELF; and if he remembers ME in a group of
people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one
span nearer to ME, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer
to ME, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to
ME walking, I go to him running.'"
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 624:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar
(R.A):
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "Your
stay (in this world) in comparison to the stay of the nations preceding you, is
like the period between 'Asr prayer and the sun set (in comparison to a whole day).
The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they acted on it till midday and
then they were unable to carry on. And they were given (a reward equal to) one Qirat
each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they acted on it till
'Asr Prayer and then they were unable to carry on, so they were given a reward equal
to) one Qirat each. Then you were given the Qur'an and you acted on it till sunset,
therefore you were given (a reward equal to) two Qirats each. On that, the people
of the Scriptures said, 'These people (Muslims) did less work than we but they took
a bigger reward.' ALLAH [S.W.T] said (to them). 'Have I done any oppression to you
as regards your rights?' They said, "No." Then ALLAH [S.W.T] said, 'That
is MY Blessing which I grant to whomsoever I Will.'"

whom ALLAH [S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S) become dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a
person and he loves him Only for ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Sake.
3. Who hates to
revert to disbelief (atheism) after ALLAH [S.W.T] has brought (saved) him out
from it, as he hates to be thrown in Fire."

Some people asked ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S],
"Whose Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a very good Muslim)?" He replied,
"One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands."

'Abdullah bin 'Amr (R.A):
A man asked the Prophet [S.A.W.S], "What

whom you do not know'.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 23, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0096:
Abu Huraira
(R.A) reported:
The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]
observed: You shall not enter Paradise so long as you do not affirm belief (in
all those things which are the articles of faith) and you will not believe as
long as you do not love one another. Should I not direct you to a thing which,
if you do, will foster love amongst you: (i.e.) give currency to (the practice
of paying salutation to one another by saying: as-salamu alaikum.
Sahih Muslim:

Wa Al-Raqa’iq), Number 7138:
Suhaib (R.A) reported:
That ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] said:
Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and
this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he
has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (ALLAH [S.W.T]), thus there is a good
for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it
patiently), there is a good for him in it.
Sahih
Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 70: Patients, Number 545:
Narrated Abu
Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira (R.A):
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "No fatigue,
nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim,
even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that ALLAH [S.W.T]
expiates some of his sins for that."
Sahih
Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 2: Belief, Number 7:
Narrated Ibn
'Umar (R.A):
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said: Islam
is based on (the following) five (principles):
1. To testify
that none has the right to be Worshiped but ALLAH [S.W.T] and Muhammad
[S.A.W.S] is ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle.
2. To offer the
(compulsory congregational) Prayers dutifully and perfectly.
3. To pay Zakat
(i.e. obligatory charity).
4. To perform
Hajj (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca ).
5. To observe
Fast during the month of Ramadan.
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 1, Book 2: Belief, Number 47:
Narrated Abu Huraira
(R.A):
One day while the Prophet [S.A.W.S] was sitting
in the company of some people, (The Angel) Gabriel (P.B.U.H) came and asked, "What
is faith?" ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, 'Faith is to believe
in ALLAH [S.W.T], HIS Angels (P.B.U.T), (the) meeting with HIM, HIS Apostles (P.B.U.T),
and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?"
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, "To Worship ALLAH [S.W.T] Alone
and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat)
and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What
is Ihsan (perfection)?" ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, "To
Worship ALLAH [S.W.T] as if you see HIM, and if you cannot achieve this state of
devotion then you must consider that HE is looking at you." Then he further
asked, "When will the Hour be established?" ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]
replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will
inform you about its portents.
1. When a slave (lady)
gives birth to her master.
2. When the shepherds
of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of
higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except ALLAH
[S.W.T]. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] then recited: "Verily, with ALLAH (Alone) is
the Knowledge of the Hour--." (31.34) Then that man (Gabriel (P.B.U.H)) left
and the Prophet [S.A.W.S] asked his companions (R.A) to call him back, but they
could not see him. Then the Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "That was Gabriel (P.B.U.H)
who came to teach the people their religion." Abu 'Abdullah (R.A) said: He
(the Prophet [S.A.W.S]) considered all that as a part of faith.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 4, Book 2: Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah), Number 0451:
'Uqba b. 'Amir (R.A)
reported:
We were entrusted with the task of tending the
camels. On my turn when I came back in the evening after grazing them in the pastures,
I found ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Messenger [S.A.W.S] stand and address the people. I heard
these words of his: If any Muslim performs ablution well, then stands and prays
two rak'ahs setting about them with his heart as well as his face, Paradise would be guaranteed to him. I said: What a fine thing
is this! And a narrator who was before me said: The first was better than even this.
When I cast a glance, I saw that it was 'Umar (R.A) who said: I see that you have
just come and observed: If anyone amongst you performs the ablution, and then completes
the ablution well and then says: I testify that there is no god but ALLAH and that
Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is the servant of ALLAH and HIS Messenger, the eight gates of
Paradise would be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 131, Book 4: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Number 1756:
‘Uqba b. ‘Amir (R.A)
reported:
When we were in Suffa, the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]
[S.A.W.S] came out and said: Which of you would like to go out every morning to
Buthan or al-’Aqiq and bring two large she camels without being guilty of sin or
without severing the ties of kinship? We said: Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S],
we would like to do it. Upon this he said: Does not one of you go out in the morning
to the Mosque and teach or recite two verses from the Book of ALLAH [S.W.T], the
MAJESTIC and GLORIOUS? That is better for him than two she camels, and three verses
are better (than three she camels), and four verses are better for him than four
(she camels), and to on their number in camels.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 132, Book 4: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Number 1757:
Abu Umama (R.A) said
he heard:
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] say: Recite
the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those
who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, Surah al-Baqara and Surah Al ‘Imran,
for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two
flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqara,
for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief,
and the magicians cannot confront it. (Mu’awiya (R.A) said: It has been conveyed
to me that here Batala means magicians.)
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 133, Book 4: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Number 1760:
Ibn ‘Abbas (R.A)
reported:
That while Gabriel (P.B.U.H) was sitting with the
Apostle [S.A.W.S] he heard a creaking sound above him. He lifted his head and said:
This as a gate opened in heaven today which had never been opened before. Then when
an Angel (P.B.U.H) descended through it, he said: This is an Angel (P.B.U.H) who
came down to the earth who had never come down before. He greeted and said: Rejoice
in two lights given to you which have not been given to any Prophet (P.B.U.T) before
you: Falihat al-Kitab (1.1-7) and the concluding verses of Suarah al-Baqara (2.286).
You will never recite a letter from them for which you will not be given (a reward).
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 134, Book 4: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Number 1768:
Ubayy b. Ka’b (R.A)
said:
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] said: O
Abu’l-Mundhir (R.A), do you know the verse from the Book of ALLAH [S.W.T] which,
according to you, is the greatest? I said: ALLAH [S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S]
know best. He again said: Abu’l-Mundhir (R.A), do you know the verse from the Book
of ALLAH [S.W.T] which, according to you, is the greatest? I said: "ALLAH,
there is no god but HE, the LIVING, the ETERNAL." (Ayat Al-Kursi (2.255)) Thereupon
he struck me on my breast and said: May knowledge be pleasant for you, O Abu’l-Mundhir
(R.A)!
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 6, Book 60: Prophetic Commentary on the Qur’an (Tafseer of the Prophet
[S.A.W.S]), Number 226:
Narrated Abu
Said Al-Mualla (R.A):
While I was praying, the Prophet [S.A.W.S]
passed by and called me, but I did not go to him till I had finished my prayer.
When I went to him, he said, "What prevented you from coming?" I
said, "I was praying." He said, "Didn't ALLAH [S.W.T]
said":- "O you who believe, give your response to ALLAH (by obeying
HIM) and to HIS Apostle." (8.24) Then he added, "Shall I tell you the
most superior Sura in the Qur'an before I go out of the Mosque?" When the
Prophet [S.A.W.S] intended to go out (of the Mosque), I reminded him and he
said, "That is: "Alhamdu-lillahi Rabbil-'Alamin
(Surat-al-Fatiha)" which is the seven oft repeated verses (Al-Mathani) and
the Grand Qur’an which has been given to me."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 6, Book 60: Prophetic Commentary on the Qur’an (Tafseer of the Prophet
[S.A.W.S]), Number 227:
Narrated Abu
Huraira (R.A):
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said,
"The Um (substance) of the Qur’an is the seven oft-repeated verses
(Al-Mathaini) and is the Great Qur’an (i.e. Surat-al-Fatiha)."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 471:
Narrated Abu Said
Al-Khudri (R.A):
A man heard another man reciting (in the prayers):
'Say (O Muhammad): "HE is ALLAH, the ONE." (112.1) And he recited it repeatedly.
When it was morning, he went to the Prophet [S.A.W.S] and informed him about that
as if he considered that the recitation of that Surah by itself was not enough.
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "By HIM in WHOSE Hand my life is, it
is equal to one-third of the Qur’an."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 472:
Narrated 'Aisha
(R.A):
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] sent (an army unit)
under the command of a man who used to lead his companions in the prayers and
would finish his recitation with (the Surah 112): 'Say (O Muhammad): "HE
is ALLAH, the ONE."' (112.1) When they returned (from the battle), they
mentioned that to the Prophet [S.A.W.S]. He said (to them), "Ask him why
he does so." They asked him and he said, "I do so because it mentions
the Qualities of the BENEFICENT and I love to recite it (in my prayer)."
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said (to them), "Tell him that ALLAH [S.W.T] loves
him."

ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] as saying: This
verse: "ALLAH grants steadfastness to those who believe with firm word,"
was revealed in connection with the torment of the grave. It would be said to him:
Who is your LORD? And he would say: ALLAH is my LORD and Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is my
Apostle, and that is (what is implied) by the words of ALLAH [S.W.T], the EXALTED:
"ALLAH keeps steadfast those who believe with firm word in this world and in
the Hereafter." (14.27)
[Sunan Abi Dawud:
Chapter 454, Book 5: Voluntary Prayers, Hadith 48 & Jami' at-Tirmidhi: Chapter
19, Book 3: The Book on Al-Witr, Hadith 31]:
Our Beloved Prophet [S.A.W.S] said to his uncle
Abbas (R.A): Oh uncle shall I not give you! Shall I not grant you! Shall I not award
you! Shall I not do mercy on you! When you do ten things ALLAH [S.W.T] will forgive
your sins: of the future and of the past; new and old; those you have forgotten
and those you did knowingly; big and small; hidden and revealed. Then Prophet [S.A.W.S]
explained the taught the way to pray Salatul Tasbih and then said if you can pray
this salah once a day, if you can not pray once a day then every Friday, and even
if this is not possible then once a month and even if this is not possible then
once a year and even if this is not possible then at least once in a lifetime.

Rabi’a b. Ka’b (R.A)
said:
I was with ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S]
one night. And I brought him water and what he required. He said to me: Ask (anything
you like). I said: I ask your company in Paradise. He (the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S])
said: Or anything else besides it. I said: That is all (what I require). He said:
Then help me to achieve this for you by devoting yourself often to prostration.
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 1, Book 12: Characteristics of Prayer, Number 804:
Narrated Abu Huraira
(R.A):
Some poor people came to the Prophet [S.A.W.S]
and said, "The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent
enjoyment and they pray like us and fast as we do. They have more money by which
they perform the Hajj, and 'Umra; fight and struggle in ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Cause and
give in charity." The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Shall I not tell you a
thing upon which if you acted you would catch up with those who have surpassed you?
Nobody would overtake you and you would be better than the people amongst whom you
live except those who would do the same. Say, "Subhan-ALLAH", "Alhamdu-lillah"
and "ALLAHU Akbar" thirty three times each after every (compulsory) prayer."
We differed and some of us said that we should say, "Subhan-ALLAH" thirty
three times and "Alhamdu lillah" thirty three times and "ALLAHU Akbar"
thirty four times. I went to the Prophet [S.A.W.S] who said, "Say, "Subhan-ALLAH"
and "Alhamdu-lillah" and "ALLAHU Akbar" all together for thirty
three times."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 8, Book 75: Invocations, Number 330:

Fatima (R.A) complained about the blisters on her
hand because of using a mill-stone. She went to ask the Prophet [S.A.W.S] for servant,
but she did not find him (at home) and had to inform 'Aisha (R.A) of her need. When
he came, 'Aisha (R.A) informed him about it. Ali (R.A) added: The Prophet [S.A.W.S]
came to us when we had gone to our beds. When I was going to get up, he said, "'Stay
in your places," and sat between us, till I felt the coolness of the feet on
my chest. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] then said, "Shall I not tell you of a thing
which is better for you than a servant? When you (both) go to your beds, say 'ALLAHU
Akbar' thirty-four times, and 'Subhan ALLAH' thirty-three times, 'Alhamdu 'illah'
thirty-three times, for that is better for you than a servant." Ibn Sirin (R.A)
said, "Subhan ALLAH' (is to be said for) thirty-four times."

is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to ALLAH) fills the scale, and Subhan
ALLAH (Glory be to ALLAH) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to ALLAH) fill up what
is between the heavens and the earth, and Prayer is a light, and Charity is proof
(of one's faith) and Endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on
your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves,
thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.

Some of the people from among the Companions (R.A)
of the Apostle of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] said to him: Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]
[S.A.W.S], the rich have taken away (air the) reward. They observe prayer as we
do; they keep the fasts as we keep, and they give sadaqa out of their surplus riches.
Upon this he (the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S]) said: Has ALLAH [S.W.T] not prescribed
for you (a course) by following which you can (also) do sadaqa? In every declaration
of the Glorification of ALLAH [S.W.T] (i.e. saying Subhan ALLAH) there is a sadaqa,
and every Takbir (i.e. saying ALLAHU Akbar) is a sadaqa, and every Praise of HIS
(saying al-Hamdu Lillah) is a sadaqa and every declaration that HE is ONE (La illha
ill-ALLAH) is a sadaqa, and enjoining of good is a sadaqa, and forbidding of that
which is evil is a sadaqa, and in man's sexual intercourse (with his wife,) there
is a sadaqa. They (the Companions (R.A)) said: Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S],
is there reward for him who satisfies his sexual passion among us? He said: Tell
me, if he were to devote it to something forbidden, would it not be a sin on his
part? Similarly, if he were to devote it to something lawful, he should have a reward.

ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] as saying:
Every one of the children of Adam (P.B.U.H) has been created with three hundred
and sixty joints; so he who declares the Glory of ALLAH [S.W.T], Praises ALLAH [S.W.T],
declares ALLAH [S.W.T] to be ONE, Glorifies ALLAH [S.W.T], and seeks Forgiveness
from ALLAH [S.W.T], and removes stone, or thorn, or bone from people's path, and

as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written
in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it

HE is POTENT over everything" one hundred times every day there is a reward
of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred virtues to his
credit, and hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard
for him against the satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more
excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words
more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters: "Hallowed
be ALLAH and all Praise is due to HIM," one hundred times a day, his sins are
obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.

(R.A):
While we were with ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]
in a holy battle, we never went up a hill or reached its peak or went down a valley

to us and said, "O people! Don't exert yourselves, for you do not call a deaf
or an absent one, but you call the ALL-LISTENER, the ALL-SEER." The Prophet
[S.A.W.S] then said, "O 'Abdullah bin Qais (R.A)! Shall I teach you a sentence

Verily the Apostle of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] recited
the words of ALLAH [S.W.T], the GREAT and GLORIOUS, that Ibrahim (P.B.U.H) uttered.
My LORD! Lo! They have led many of mankind astray:" But whoso followeth me,
he verily is of me" (al-Qur'an, 14.36) and Jesus (P.B.U.H) said:" If THOU
punisheth them, Lo! They are THY slaves, and if THOU forgiveth them-verily THOU
art the MIGHTY, the WISE" (al-Qur'an, 5.118). Then he raised his hands and
said: O LORD, my Ummah, my Ummah, and wept; so ALLAH [S.W.T] the HIGH and the EXALTED
said: O Gabriel (P.B.U.H), go to Muhammad [S.A.W.S] (Though your LORD knows it fully
well) and ask him: What makes thee weep? So Gabriel (P.B.U.H) came to him and asked
him, and the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] informed him what he had said
(Though ALLAH [S.W.T] knew it fully well). Upon this ALLAH [S.W.T] said: O Gabriel
(P.B.U.H), go to Muhammad [S.A.W.S] and say: Verily WE will please thee with regard
to your Ummah and would not displease thee.

and then believed in the Prophet Muhammad [S.A.W.S] (i.e. has embraced Islam).
2. A slave who discharges

O ALLAH! Send YOUR Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as YOU sent
YOUR Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for YOU are the MOST PRAISEWORTHY,
the MOST GLORIOUS.'"

"Whoever sends Salat upon me, ALLAH [S.W.T] sends Salat upon him ten times."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 8, Book 73: Good Manners and Form, Number 2:
Narrated Abu Huraira
(R.A):
A man came to ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]
and said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! Who is more entitled to be
treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Your
mother." The man said. "Who is next?" The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said,
"Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet
[S.A.W.S] said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who
is next?" The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Your father."

done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijja)."
Then some companions (R.A) of the Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Not even Jihad?"
He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself

of those things."

ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] as saying:
ALLAH [S.W.T], the EXALTED and MAJESTIC said: Every act of the son of Adam (P.B.U.H)
is for him, except fasting. It is (exclusively) meant for ME and I (Alone) will
reward it. Fasting is a shield. When any one of you is fasting on a day, he should
neither indulge in obscene language, nor raise the voice; or if anyone reviles him
or tries to quarrel with him he should say: I am a person fasting. By HIM, in WHOSE
Hand is the life of Muhammad [S.A.W.S], the breath of the observer of fast is sweeter
to ALLAH [S.W.T] on the Day of Judgment than the fragrance of musk. The one who
fasts has two (occasions) of joy, one when he breaks the fast he is glad with the
breaking of (the fast) and one when he meets his LORD he is glad with his fast.

not seen and the ear has not heard and no human heart has ever perceived them. He
then recited this verse: "They forsake (their) beds, calling upon their LORD

ALLAH [S.W.T], to practice sorcery, to kill the life which ALLAH [S.W.T] has forbidden
except for a just cause (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to eat

seven persons are) a just ruler, a youth who has been brought up in the Worship
of ALLAH [S.W.T] (i.e. Worships ALLAH [S.W.T] sincerely from childhood), a man whose
heart is attached to the Mosques (i.e. to pray the compulsory prayers in the Mosque
in congregation), two persons who love each other Only for ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Sake
and they meet and part in ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Cause Only, a man who refuses the call
of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her and says: I
am afraid of ALLAH [S.W.T], a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his

A man came to the Prophet [S.A.W.S] and asked,
"A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for

said, "He who fights that ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Word (i.e. Islam) should be Superior,
fights in ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Cause."

Chapter 34, Book 20: On Government (Kitab Al-Imara), Number 4655:
It has been
narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (R.A):
That the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]
said: Of the men he lives the best life who holds the reins of his horse (ever
ready to march) in the way of ALLAH [S.W.T], flies on its back whenever he
hears a fearful shriek, or a call for help, flies to it seeking death at places
where it can be expected. (Next to him) is a man who lives with his sheep at a
hill-top or in a valley, says his prayers regularly, gives Zakat and Worships
his LORD until death comes to him.

(R.A):
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Whoever believes
in ALLAH [S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S], offer prayer perfectly and fasts the
month of Ramadan, will rightfully be granted Paradise by ALLAH [S.W.T], no matter
whether he fights in ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Cause or remains in the land where he is born."
The people said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! Shall we acquaint the
people with this good news?" He said, "Paradise has one-hundred grades
which ALLAH [S.W.T] has reserved for the Mujahidin who fight in HIS Cause, and the
distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and
the Earth. So, when you ask ALLAH [S.W.T] (for something), ask for Al-Firdaus which
is the best and highest part of Paradise." (i.e. the sub-narrator added, "I
think the Prophet [S.A.W.S] also said, 'Above it (i.e. Al-Firdaus) is the Throne
of BENEFICENT (i.e. ALLAH [S.W.T]), and from it originate the rivers of Paradise .")
Sahih Muslim: Chapter 83, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0363:
It is reported on
the authority of al-Mughira b. Shu’ba (R.A):
That the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] said:
Moses (P.B.U.H) asked his LORD: Who amongst the inhabitants of Paradise is the lowest to rank? HE (ALLAH [S.W.T]) said: The
person who would be admitted into Paradise last of all among those deserving of
Paradise who are admitted to it. I would be said
to him: Enter Paradise. He would say: O my LORD! How (should I enter) while the
people have settled in their apartments and taken the shares (portions)? It would
be said to him: Would you be pleased if there be for you like the kingdom of a king
amongst the kings of the world? He would say: I am pleased my LORD. HE (ALLAH [S.W.T])
would say: For you is that, and like that, and like that, and like that, and that.
He would say at the fifth (point): I am well pleased, my LORD. HE (ALLAH [S.W.T])
would say: It is for you and ten times like it, and for you is what your self desires
and your eye enjoys. He would say: I am well pleased, my LORD. He (Moses (P.B.U.H))
said: (Which is) the highest of their (inhabitants of Paradise) ranks? HE (ALLAH
[S.W.T]) said: They are those Whom I choose. I establish their Honor with MY OWN
Hand and then set a seal over it (and they would be Blessed with Bounties) which
no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no human mind has perceived: and this is substantiated
by the Book of ALLAH [S.W.T], the EXALTED and GREAT: "So no soul knows what
delight of the eye is hidden for them; a reward for what they did" (32.17).
Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 1: Revelation, Number 6:
Narrated 'Abdullah
bin 'Abbas (R.A):
Abu Sufyan bin Harb informed me that Heraclius
had sent a messenger to him while he had been accompanying a caravan from Quraish.
They were merchants doing business in Sham (Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan),
at the time when ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] had truce with Abu Sufyan and
Quraish infidels. So Abu Sufyan and his companions went to Heraclius at Ilya (Jerusalem ). Heraclius called
them in the court and he had all the senior Roman dignitaries around him. He called
for his translator who, translating Heraclius's question said to them, "Who
amongst you is closely related to that man who claims to be a Prophet?" Abu
Sufyan replied, "I am the nearest relative to him (amongst the group)."
Heraclius said, "Bring him (Abu Sufyan) close to me and make his companions
stand behind him." Abu Sufyan added, Heraclius told his translator to tell
my companions that he wanted to put some questions to me regarding that man (The
Prophet [S.A.W.S]) and that if I told a lie they (my companions) should contradict
me." Abu Sufyan added, "By ALLAH [S.W.T]! Had I not been afraid of my
companions labeling me a liar, I would not have spoken the truth about the Prophet
[S.A.W.S]. The first question he asked me about him was: 'What is his family status
amongst you?' I replied, 'He belongs to a good (noble) family amongst us. 'Heraclius
further asked, 'Has anybody amongst you ever claimed the same (i.e. to be a Prophet)
before him?' I replied, 'No.' He said, 'Was anybody amongst his ancestors a king?'
I replied, 'No. 'Heraclius asked, 'Do the nobles or the poor follow him?' I replied,
'It is the poor who follow him.' He said, 'Are his followers increasing decreasing
(day by day)?' I replied, 'They are increasing.' He then asked, 'Does anybody amongst
those who embrace his religion become displeased and renounce the religion afterwards?'
I replied, 'No. 'Heraclius said, 'Have you ever accused him of telling lies before
his claim (to be a Prophet)?' I replied, 'No. 'Heraclius said, 'Does he break his
promises?' I replied, 'No. We are at truce with him but we do not know what he will
do in it.' I could not find opportunity to say anything against him except that.
'Heraclius asked, 'Have you ever had a war with him?' I replied, 'Yes.' Then he
said, 'What was the outcome of the battles?' I replied, 'Sometimes he was victorious
and sometimes we. 'Heraclius said, 'What does he order you to do?' I said, 'He tells
us to Worship ALLAH [S.W.T] and ALLAH [S.W.T] Alone and not to Worship anything
along with HIM, and to renounce all that our ancestors had said. He orders us to
pray, to speak the truth, to be chaste and to keep good relations with our Kith
and kin. 'Heraclius asked the translator to convey to me the following, I asked
you about his family and your reply was that he belonged to a very noble family.
In fact all the Apostles (P.B.U.T) come from noble families amongst their respective
peoples. I questioned you whether anybody else amongst you claimed such a thing,
your reply was in the negative. If the answer had been in the affirmative, I would
have thought that this man was following the previous man's statement. Then I asked
you whether anyone of his ancestors was a king. Your reply was in the negative,
and if it had been in the affirmative, I would have thought that this man wanted
to take back his ancestral kingdom. I further asked whether he was ever accused
of telling lies before he said what he said, and your reply was in the negative.
So I wondered how a person who does not tell a lie about others could ever tell
a lie about ALLAH [S.W.T]. I, then asked you whether the rich people followed him
or the poor. You replied that it was the poor who followed him. And in fact all
the Apostle (P.B.U.T) have been followed by this very class of people. Then I asked
you whether his followers were increasing or decreasing. You replied that they were
increasing, and in fact this is the way of true faith, till it is complete in all
respects. I further asked you whether there was anybody, who, after embracing his
Religion, became displeased and discarded his Religion. Your reply was in the negative,
and in fact this is (the sign of) true faith, when its delight enters the hearts
and mixes with them completely. I asked you whether he had ever betrayed. You replied
in the negative and likewise the Apostles (P.B.U.T) never betray. Then I asked you
what he ordered you to do. You replied that he ordered you to Worship ALLAH [S.W.T]
and ALLAH [S.W.T] Alone and not to Worship any thing along with HIM and forbade
you to Worship idols and ordered you to pray, to speak the truth and to be chaste.
If what you have said is true, he will very soon occupy this place underneath my
feet and I knew it (from the scriptures) that he was going to appear but I did not
know that he would be from you, and if I could reach him definitely, I would go
immediately to meet him and if I were with him, I would certainly wash his feet.
'Heraclius then asked for the letter addressed by ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]
which was delivered by Dihya (R.A) to the Governor of Busra, who forwarded it to
Heraclius to read. The contents of the letter were as follows: "In the Name
of ALLAH, the BENEFICENT, the MERCIFUL (This letter is) from Muhammad the slave
of ALLAH [S.W.T] and HIS Apostle to Heraclius the ruler of Byzantine. Peace be upon
him, who follows the right path. Furthermore, I invite you to Islam, and if you
become a Muslim you will be safe, and ALLAH [S.W.T] will double your reward, and
if you reject this invitation of Islam you will be committing a sin by misguiding
your Arisiyin (peasants). (And I recite to you ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Statement:) 'O people
of the scripture! Come to a word common to you and us that we Worship none but ALLAH
[S.W.T] and that we associate nothing in Worship with HIM, and that none of us shall
take others as Lords beside ALLAH [S.W.T]. Then, if they turn away, say: Bear witness
that we are Muslims (those who have surrendered to ALLAH [S.W.T]).' (3:64). Abu
Sufyan then added, "When Heraclius had finished his speech and had read the
letter, there was a great hue and cry in the Royal Court. So we were turned out
of the court. I told my companions that the question of Ibn-Abi-Kabsha) (the Prophet
Muhammad [S.A.W.S]) has become so prominent that even the King of Bani Al-Asfar
(Byzantine) is afraid of him. Then I started to become sure that he (the Prophet
[S.A.W.S]) would be the conqueror in the near future till I embraced Islam (i.e.
ALLAH [S.W.T] guided me to it)." The sub narrator adds, "Ibn An-Natur
was the Governor of llya' (Jerusalem) and Heraclius was the head of the Christians
of Sham. Ibn An-Natur narrates that once while Heraclius was visiting ilya' (Jerusalem),
he got up in the morning with a sad mood. Some of his priests asked him why he was
in that mood? Heraclius was a foreteller and an astrologer. He replied, 'At night
when I looked at the stars, I saw that the leader of those who practice circumcision
had appeared (become the conqueror). Who are they who practice circumcision?' The
people replied, 'Except the Jews nobody practices circumcision, so you should not
be afraid of them (Jews). 'Just Issue orders to kill every Jew present in the country.'
While they were discussing it, a messenger sent by the king of Ghassan to convey
the news of ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] to Heraclius was brought in. Having
heard the news, he (Heraclius) ordered the people to go and see whether the messenger
of Ghassan was circumcised. The people, after seeing him, told Heraclius that he
was circumcised. Heraclius then asked him about the Arabs. The messenger replied,
'Arabs also practice circumcision.' (After hearing that) Heraclius remarked that
sovereignty of the 'Arabs had appeared. Heraclius then wrote a letter to his friend
in Rome who was
as good as Heraclius in knowledge. Heraclius then left for Homs. (a town in Syrian
and stayed there till he received the reply of his letter from his friend who agreed
with him in his opinion about the emergence of the Prophet [S.A.W.S] and the fact
that he was a Prophet. On that Heraclius invited all the heads of the Byzantines
to assemble in his palace at Homs .
When they assembled, he ordered that all the doors of his palace be closed. Then
he came out and said, 'O Byzantines! If success is your desire and if you seek right
guidance and want your empire to remain then give a pledge of allegiance to this
Prophet (i.e. embrace Islam).' (On hearing the views of Heraclius) the people ran
towards the gates of the palace like onagers but found the doors closed. Heraclius
realized their hatred towards Islam and when he lost the hope of their embracing
Islam, he ordered that they should be brought back in audience. (When they returned)
he said, 'What already said was just to test the strength of your conviction and
I have seen it.' The people prostrated before him and became pleased with him, and
this was the end of Heraclius's story (in connection with his faith).

Prophets (P.B.U.T) before me. These are:
1. ALLAH [S.W.T]
made me victorious by awe (by HIS frightening my enemies) for a distance of one
month's journey.
2. The earth has
been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to
perform Tayammum. Therefore, my followers can pray wherever the time of a
prayer is due.
3. The booty has
been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so for anyone else).
4. Every Prophet
(P.B.U.T) used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent to all
mankind.
5. I have been
given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection.)

if he says, 'If such thing is not true then I am a Jew,' he is really a Jew). And
whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece
of iron in the Hell Fire." Narrated Jundab (R.A) the Prophet [S.A.W.S] said,
"A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so ALLAH [S.W.T]
said: MY slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him."

Apostle [S.A.W.S] and said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! Inform me
what ALLAH [S.W.T] has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied:
"You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night
(24 hours), unless you want to pray Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Inform
me what ALLAH [S.W.T] has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied,
"You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast
more as Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much Zakat ALLAH
[S.W.T] has enjoined on me." Thus, ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S] informed
him about all the rules (i.e. fundamentals) of Islam. The bedouin then said, "By
HIM WHO has honored you, I will neither perform any Nawafil nor will I decrease
what ALLAH [S.W.T] has enjoined on me. ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "If

2. "No fasting
is permissible on the two days of Id-ul-Fitr and 'Id-ul-Adha";

[S.W.T] will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort,
ALLAH [S.W.T] will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection,

asked ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S], 'O ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! What
do you think about some good deeds I used to practice in the pre-Islamic period
of ignorance regarding them as deeds of righteousness?' ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle

"It has been affirmed" (Paradise). Then another funeral procession passed
by. The people praised the deceased. 'Umar (R.A) said, "It has been affirmed."
(Paradise). Then another funeral procession passed by. The people praised the deceased.
'Umar (R.A) said, "It has been affirmed (Paradise)." Then a third funeral
procession passed by and the people talked badly of the deceased. 'Umar (R.A) said,
"It has been affirmed (Hell)." I asked Umar (R.A), "O chief of the
believers! What has been affirmed?" He said, "I have said what the Prophet
[S.A.W.S] said. He said, 'ALLAH [S.W.T] will admit into paradise any Muslim whose
good character is attested by four persons.' We asked the Prophet [S.A.W.S], 'If
there were three witnesses only?' He said, 'Even three.' We asked, 'If there were
two only?' He said, 'Even two.' But we did not ask him about one witness."

ALLAH [S.W.T], to practice sorcery, to kill the life which ALLAH [S.W.T] has forbidden
except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to

Apostle [S.A.W.S]! Shall I fight or embrace Islam first? "The Prophet [S.A.W.S]
said, "Embrace Islam first and then fight." So he embraced Islam, and
was Martyred. ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, A Little work, but a great

That he heard the Prophet [S.A.W.S] on the day
(of the battle) of Khaibar saying, "I will give the flag to a person at whose
hands ALLAH [S.W.T] will grant victory." So, the companions of the Prophet
[S.A.W.S] got up, wishing eagerly to see to whom the flag will be given, and everyone
of them wished to be given the flag. But the Prophet [S.A.W.S] asked for 'Ali (R.A).
Someone informed him that he was suffering from eye-trouble. So, he ordered them
to bring 'Ali (R.A) in front of him. Then the Prophet [S.A.W.S] spat in his eyes
and his eyes were cured immediately as if he had never any eye-trouble. 'Ali (R.A)
said, "We will fight with them (i.e. infidels) till they become like us (i.e.
Muslims)." The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Be patient, till you face them
and invite them to Islam and inform them of what ALLAH [S.W.T] has enjoined upon
them. By ALLAH [S.W.T]! If a single person embraces Islam at your hands (i.e. through
you), that will be better for you than the red camels."

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "The Hour will

the Turks, who will have small eyes, red faces and flat noses; and their faces will
be like flat shields. And you will find that the best people are those who hate
responsibility of ruling most of all till they are chosen to be the rulers. And
the people are of different natures: The best in the pre-Islamic period are the
best in Islam. A time will come when any of you will love to see me rather than
to have his family and property doubled."

On the day of Al-Khandaq (i.e. Trench), the Prophet
[S.A.W.S] said '(Let) ALLAH [S.W.T] fill their (i.e. the infidels') houses and graves
with fire just as they have prevented us from offering the Middle Prayer (i.e. 'Asr
prayer) till the sun had set."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 6, Book 60: Prophetic Commentary on the Qur’an (Tafseer of the Prophet
[S.A.W.S])), Number 7:
Narrated Anas (R.A):
'Abdullah bin Salam (R.A) heard the news of the
arrival of ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] (at Medina) while he was on a farm
collecting its fruits. So he came to the Prophet [S.A.W.S] and said, "I will
ask you about three things which nobody knows unless he be a Prophet. Firstly, what
is the first portent of the Hour? What is the first meal of the people of Paradise?
And what makes a baby look like its father or mother?'. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said,
"Just now Gabriel (P.B.U.H) has informed me about that." 'Abdullah (R.A)
said, "Gabriel (P.B.U.H.)?" The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Yes."
'Abdullah (R.A) said, "He, among the Angels (P.B.U.T) is the enemy of the Jews."
On that the Prophet [S.A.W.S] recited this Holy Verse:-- "Whoever is an enemy
to Gabriel (P.B.U.H) (let him die in his fury!) for he has brought it (i.e. Qur'an)
down to your heart by ALLAH [S.W.T]’s permission." (2.97) Then he added, "As
for the first portent of the Hour, it will be a fire that will collect the people
from the East to West. And as for the first meal of the people of Paradise, it will
be the caudite (i.e. extra) lobe of the fish liver. And if a man's discharge proceeded
that of the woman, then the child resembles the father, and if the woman's discharge
proceeded that of the man, then the child resembles the mother." On hearing
that, 'Abdullah (R.A) said, "I testify that None has the right to be Worshiped
but ALLAH [S.W.T], and that you are the Apostle of ALLAH [S.W.T], O, ALLAH [S.W.T]’s
Apostle [S.A.W.S]; the Jews are liars, and if they should come to know that I have
embraced Islam, they would accuse me of being a liar." In the meantime, some
Jews came (to the Prophet [S.A.W.S]) and he asked them, "What is 'Abdullah
(R.A)'s status amongst you?" They replied, "He is the best amongst us,
and he is our chief and the son of our chief." The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said,
"What would you think if 'Abdullah bin Salam (R.A) embraced Islam?" They
replied, "May ALLAH [S.W.T] protect him from this!" Then 'Abdullah (R.A)
came out and said, "I testify that none has the right to be Worshiped but ALLAH
[S.W.T] and that Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is the Apostle of ALLAH [S.W.T]." The Jews
then said, "Abdullah (R.A) is the worst of us and the son of the worst of us,"
and disparaged him. On that 'Abdullah (R.A) said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle
[S.A.W.S]! This is what I was afraid of!"

A man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf and his horse
was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man,
and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as
if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet [S.A.W.S],
and told him of that experience. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "That was As-Sakina
(tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur'an."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 6, Book 61: Virtues of the Qur'an, Number 534:

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said to his companions (R.A),
"Is it difficult for any of you to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night?"
This suggestion was difficult for them so they said, "Who among us has the
power to do so, O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]?" ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle
[S.A.W.S] replied: "ALLAH (the) ONE, the SELF-SUFFICIENT MASTER WHOM all Creatures
need.' (Surat Al-Ikhlas 112.1--to the End) is equal to one third of the Qur'an."

is an hour (or a moment) of particular significance on Friday. If it happens that
a Muslim is offering a prayer and invoking ALLAH [S.W.T] for some good at that very
moment, ALLAH [S.W.T] will grant him his request." (The sub-narrator placed

of his sins for that."
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 7, Book 71: Medicine, Number 606:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas
(R.A):
ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, 'Nations
were displayed before me; one or two Prophets (P.B.U.T) would pass by along with
a few followers. A Prophet (P.B.U.H) would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a
big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, Who are they? Are they my
followers?" It was said, 'No. It is Moses (P.B.U.H) (and his followers. It
was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.'' Behold! There was a multitude of people
filling the horizon. Then it was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching
sky! Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon,' It was said to me, 'This
is your nation out of whom seventy thousand shall enter Paradise without reckoning.'
"Then the Prophet [S.A.W.S] entered his house without telling his companions
(R.A) who they (the 70,000) were. So the people started talking about the issue
and said, "It is we who have believed in ALLAH [S.W.T] and followed HIS Apostle
[S.A.W.S]; therefore those people are either ourselves or our children who are born
in the Islamic era, for we were born in the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance.'' When
the Prophet [S.A.W.S] heard of that, he came out and said. "Those people are
those who do not treat themselves with Ruqya, nor do they believe in bad or good
omen (from birds etc.) nor do they get themselves branded (Cauterized) but they
put their trust (Only) in their LORD " On that 'Ukasha bin Muhsin (R.A) said.
"Am I one of them, O ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Apostle [S.A.W.S]?' The Prophet [S.A.W.S]
said, "Yes." Then another person got up and said, "Am I one of them?"

hands could reach. And when he fell ill, he used to order me to do like that for
him.

Narrated Al-Harith
bin Suwaid (R.A):
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (R.A) related to us two narrations:
One from the Prophet [S.A.W.S] and the other from himself, saying: A believer sees
his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on
him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose
and he just drives them away like this." (The sub-narrator) Abu Shihab (R.A)
moved his hand over his nose in illustration. (Ibn Mas'ud (R.A) added): ALLAH [S.W.T]'s
Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "ALLAH [S.W.T] is more pleased with the repentance
of HIS slave than a man who encamps at a place where his life is jeopardized, but
he has his riding beast carrying his food and water. He then rests his head and
sleeps for a short while and wakes to find his riding beast gone. (He starts looking
for it) and suffers from severe heat and thirst or what ALLAH [S.W.T] wished (him
to suffer from). He then says, 'I will go back to my place.' He returns and sleeps
again, and then (getting up), he raises his head to find his riding beast standing
beside him."

Verily ALLAH [S.W.T] Created Mercy. The day HE Created it, HE made it into one hundred
parts. HE withheld with HIM ninety-nine parts, and sent its one part to all HIS
Creatures. Had the non-believer known of all the Mercy which is in the Hands of

by them. So I said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! We were living in
ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then ALLAH [S.W.T] brought to
us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?" He said,
"Yes." I said, 'Will there be any good after that evil?" He replied,
"Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)'' I asked, "What will be its
taint?" He replied, "(There will be) some people who will guide others
not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove
of some others." I asked, "Will there be any evil after that good?"
He replied, "Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell)
Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell)
Fire." I said, "O ALLAH [S.W.T] s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?"
He said, "They will be from our own people and will speak our language."
I said, "What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my
life?" He said, "Stick to the group of Muslims and their Imam (ruler)."
I said, "If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an Imam (ruler)?"

come to you so that you may teach us of what ALLAH [S.W.T] has taught you."
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "Gather on such-and-such a day at such-and-such

If she lost two children?" She repeated her question twice, whereupon the Prophet

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, "Time has come
back to its original state which it had when ALLAH [S.W.T] Created the Heavens and
the Earth, the year is twelve months, of which four are sacred; (and out of these
four) three are in succession, namely, Dhul-Qa'da, Dhul-Hijja and Muharram, and
(the fourth one) Rajab Mudar which is between Jumad (Ath-Tham) and Sha'ban."
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] then asked us, "Which month is this?" We said, "ALLAH
[S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S] know (it) better." He kept quiet so long
that we thought he might call it by another name. Then he said, "Isn't it Dhul-Hijja?"
We said, "Yes." He asked "What town is this?" We said, "ALLAH
[S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S] know (it) better.' Then he kept quiet so long
that we thought he might call it by another name. He then said, "Isn't it the
(forbidden) Town (Mecca)?" We said, "Yes." He asked, "What is
the day today?" We said, "ALLAH [S.W.T] and HIS Apostle [S.A.W.S] know
(it) better. Then he kept quiet so long that we thought that he might call it by
another name. Then he said, "Isn't it the Day of An-Nahr (slaughtering of sacrifices)?"
We said, "Yes." Then he said, "Your blood (lives), your properties,"
(the sub narrator Muhammad (R.A), said: I think he also said): "..and your
honor) are as sacred to one another like the sanctity of this Day of yours, in this
Town of yours, in this Month of yours. You shall meet your LORD and HE will ask
you about your deeds. Beware! Don't go astray after me by striking the necks of
one another. Lo! It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform it to those
who are absent for perhaps the informed one might comprehend it (understand it)
better than some of the present audience." Whenever the sub-narrator Muhammad
(R.A) mentioned that statement, he would say, "The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said the
truth.") And then the Prophet [S.A.W.S] added, "No doubt! Haven't I conveyed
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Message to you! No doubt! Haven't I conveyed ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Message
to you?"
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 586:
Narrated Abu Huraira
(R.A):
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, "Every
night when it is the last third of the night, our LORD, the SUPERIOR, the BLESSED,
descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke ME that I may
respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask ME so that I may grant him his
request? Is there anyone asking MY Forgiveness so that I may Forgive him?"
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 614:
Narrated 'Ubaidullah
bin 'Abdullah (R.A):
'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (R.A) said, "O the group
of Muslims! How can you ask the people of the Scriptures about anything while your
Book which ALLAH [S.W.T] has revealed to your Prophet [S.A.W.S] contains the most
recent news from ALLAH [S.W.T] and is pure and not distorted? ALLAH [S.W.T] has
told you that the people of the Scriptures have changed some of ALLAH [S.W.T]’s
Books and distorted it and wrote something with their own hands and said, 'This
is from ALLAH [S.W.T], so as to have a minor gain for it. Won't the knowledge that
has come to you stop you from asking them? No, by ALLAH [S.W.T], we have never seen
a man from them asking you about that (the Book Al-Qur'an) which has been revealed
to you.
Sahih Muslim: Chapter 8, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0027:
It is reported on
the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that Mu'adh (R.A) said:
The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] sent me
(as a governor of Yemen) and (at the time of departure) instructed me thus: You
will soon find yourself in a community one among the people of the Book, so first
call them to testify that there is no god but ALLAH [S.W.T], that I (Muhammad [S.A.W.S])
am the messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T], and if they accept this, then tell them ALLAH
[S.W.T] has enjoined upon them five prayers during the day and the night and if
they accept it, then tell them that ALLAH [S.W.T] has made Zakat obligatory for
them that it should be collected from the rich and distributed among the poor, and
if they agree to it don't pick up (as a share of Zakat) the best of their wealth’s.
Beware of the supplication of the oppressed for there is no barrier between him
and ALLAH [S.W.T].
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 10, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0036:
It is reported by
Sa'id b. Musayyib (R.A) who narrated it on the authority of his father (Musayyib
b. Hazm (R.A)):
That when Abu Talib was about to die, the Messenger
of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] came to him and found with him Abu Jahl ('Amr b. Hisham)
and 'Abdullah b. Abi Umayya ibn al-Mughirah. The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]
said: My uncle, you just make a profession that there is no god but ALLAH [S.W.T],
and I will bear testimony before ALLAH [S.W.T] (of your being a believer), Abu Jahl
and 'Abdullah b. Abi Umayya addressing him said: Abu Talib, would you abandon the
religion of 'Abdul-Muttalib? The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] constantly
requested him (to accept his offer), and (on the other hand) was repeated the same
statement (of Abu Jahl and 'Abdullah b. Abi Umayya) till Abu Talib gave his final
decision and be stuck to the religion of 'Abdul-Muttalib and refused to profess
that there is no god but ALLAH [S.W.T]. Upon this the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]
[S.A.W.S] remarked: By ALLAH [S.W.T], I will persistently beg pardon for you till
I am forbidden to do so (by ALLAH [S.W.T]), It was then that ALLAH [S.W.T], the
Magnificent and the Glorious, revealed this verse: "It is not meet for the
Prophet and for those who believe that they should beg pardon for the polytheists,
even though they were their kith and kin, after it had been made known to them that
they were the denizens of Hell" (9. 113) And it was said to the Messenger of
ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]: "Verily thou canst not guide to the right path whom
thou lovest. And it is ALLAH [S.W.T] WHO guideth whom HE will, and HE knoweth best
who are the guided"(28. 56).
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 11, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0045:
It is narrated on
the authority of Sunabihi (R.A):
That he went to Ubada b. Samit (R.A) when he was
about to die. I burst into tears. Upon this he said to me: Allow me some time (so
that I may talk with you). Why do you weep? By ALLAH [S.W.T], if I am asked to bear
witness, I would certainly testify for you (that you are a believer). Should I be
asked to intercede, I would certainly intercede for you, and if I have the power,
I would certainly do good to you, and then observed: By ALLAH [S.W.T], never did
I hear anything from the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] which could have been
a source of benefit to you and then not conveyed it to you except this single hadith.
That I intend to narrate to you today, since I am going to breathe my last. I heard
the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] say: He who testifies that there is no
god but ALLAH [S.W.T] and that Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T],
ALLAH [S.W.T] would prohibit the fire of Hell for him.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 11, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0052:
It is narrated on
the authority of 'Itban b. Malik (R.A):
That he came to Medina and said: Something had
gone wrong with my eyesight. I, therefore, sent (a message to the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S]):
Verily it is my ardent desire that you should kindly grace my house with your presence
and observe prayer there so, that I should make that corner a place of Worship.
He said: The Prophet [S.A.W.S] came there, and those amongst the Companions (R.A)
whom ALLAH [S.W.T] willed also accompanied him. He entered (my place) and offered
prayer at my residence and his companions (R.A) began to talk amongst themselves
(and this conversation centered round hypocrites), and then the conspicuous one,
Malik b. Dukhshum was made the target and they wished that he (the Holy Prophet
[S.A.W.S]) should curse him and he should die or he should meet some calamity. In
the meanwhile the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] completed his prayer and
said: Does Malik b. Dukhshum not testify the fact that there is no god but ALLAH
[S.W.T] and verily I am the messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]. They replied: He makes a
profession of it (no doubt) but does not do it out of (sincere) heart. He (the Holy
Prophet [S.A.W.S]) said: He who testifies that there is no god but ALLAH [S.W.T]
and I am the messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] would not enter Hell or its (flames) would
not consume him. Anas (R.A) said: This hadith impressed me very much and I told
my son to write it down.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 12, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0054:
It is narrated on
the authority of 'Abbas b. 'Abdul-Muttalib (R.A):
That he heard the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]
saying: He relished the flavor of faith (Iman) who became the book of faith pleased
with ALLAH [S.W.T] as LORD, with al-Islam as the code of life and with Muhammad
[S.A.W.S] as the Messenger (of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.W.T)).
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 20, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0075:
It is reported on
the authority of Abu Huraira (R.A):
That the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] observed:
He who believes in ALLAH [S.W.T] and the Last Day should either utter good words
or better keep silence; and he who believes in ALLAH [S.W.T] and the Last Day should
treat his neighbour with kindness and he who believes in ALLAH [S.W.T] and the Last
Day should show hospitality to his guest.
Sahih Muslim:

Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 35, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0142:
It is narrated on
the authority of 'Abdullah b. Umar (R.A):
That the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] observed:
O womenfolk, you should give charity and ask much forgiveness for I saw you in bulk
amongst the dwellers of Hell. A wise lady among them said: Why is it, Messenger
of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S], that our folk is in bulk in Hell? Upon this the Holy
Prophet [S.A.W.S] observed: You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses.
I have seen none lacking in common sense and failing in religion but (at the same
time) robbing the wisdom of the wise, besides you. Upon this the woman remarked:
What is wrong with our common sense and with religion? He (the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S])
observed: Your lack of common sense (can be well judged from the fact) that the
evidence of two women is equal to one man, that is a proof of the lack of common
sense, and you spend some nights (and days) in which you do not offer prayer and
in the month of Ramadan (during the days) you do not observe fast, that is a failing
in religion. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Tahir (R.A) with
this chain of transmitters.
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 44, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0183:
It is narrated on
the authority of Abu Huraira (R.A):
That the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] happened
to pass by a heap of eatables (corn). He thrust his hand in that (heap) and his
fingers were moistened. He said to the owner of that heap of eatables (corn): What
is this? He replied: Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S], these have been drenched
by rainfall. He (the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S]) remarked: Why did you not place this
(the drenched part of the heap) over other eatables so that the people could see
it? He who deceives is not of me (is not my follower).
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 48, Book 1: Faith (Kitab Al Iman), Number 0202:
It is narrated on
the authority of Thabit b. al-Dahhak (R.A):
That the Apostle of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] observes:
None is obliged to give votive offering (of a thing) which is not in his possession
and the cursing of a believer is tantamount to killing him, and he who killed himself
with a thing in this world would be tormented with that (very thing) on the Day
of Resurrection, and he who made a false claim to increase (his wealth), ALLAH [S.W.T]
would make no addition but that of paucity, and he who perjured would earn the wrath
of ALLAH [S.W.T].
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 9, Book 2: Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah), Number 0482:
Abu Huraira (R.A)
reported:
ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Messenger [S.A.W.S] came to the
graveyard and said: Peace be upon you! The abode of the believing people and we
if ALLAH [S.W.T] so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers. They
(the hearers) said: Aren’t we your brothers-Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]? He said:
You are my companions, and our brothers are those who have, so far, not come into
the world. They said: ALLAH [S.W.T]'s Messenger [S.A.W.S], how would you recognize
those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Suppose a man had
horses with white blazes on foreheads and legs among horses which were all black,
tell me, would he not recognize his own horses? They said: Certainly. ALLAH [S.W.T]'s
Messenger [S.A.W.S]. He said: They would come with white faces and arms and legs
owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Cistern before them. Some people would
be driven away from my Cistern as the stray camel is driven away. I would call out.
Come, come. Then it would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after
you, and I would say: Be off, be off.
Sahih Muslim:

Ma’dan b. Talha (R.A)
reported:
I met Thauban (R.A), the freed slave of ALLAH [S.W.T]’s
Messenger [S.A.W.S], and asked him to tell me about an act for which, if I do it,
ALLAH [S.W.T] will admit me to Paradise, or I asked about the act which was loved
most by ALLAH [S.W.T]. He gave no reply. I again asked and he gave no reply. I asked
him for the third time, and he said: I asked ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S]
about that and he said: Make frequent prostrations before ALLAH [S.W.T], for you
will not make one prostration without raising you a degree because of it, and removing
a sin from you, because of it. Ma’dan (R.A) said: That then he met Abu al-Darda’
(R.A) and when he asked him, he received a reply similar to that given by Thauban
(R.A).

I seek refuge with the LORD of men." (i.e. Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas)
Sahih Muslim:
Chapter 158, Book 4: Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Number 1885:
Jabir b. Abdullah
(R.A) said:
When ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] delivered
the sermon, his eyes became red, his voice rose and his anger increased so that
he was like one giving a warning against the enemy and saying: "The enemy has
made a morning attack on you and in the evening too." He would also say:"
The last Hour and I have been sent like these two." And he would join his forefinger
and middle finger; and would further say: "The best of the speech is embodied
in the Book of ALLAH [S.W.T], and the best of the guidance is the guidance given
by Muhammad [S.A.W.S]. And the most evil affairs are their innovations; and every
innovation is error." He would further say: I am more dear to a Muslim even
than his self; and he who left behind property that is for his family and he who
dies under debt or leaves children (in helplessness) the responsibility (of paying
his debt and bringing up his children) lies on me."

‘Aisha (R.A) reported:
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] as saying: There is no day when ALLAH [S.W.T] sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of ‘Arafa. HE draws near, then praises them to the Angels (P.B.U.T), saying: What do these want?

reported:
I invited my mother, who was a polytheist, to Islam.
I invited her one day and she said to me something about ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger
[S.A.W.S] which I hated. I came to ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] weeping and
said: ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S], I invited my mother to Islam but she
did not accept (my invitation). I invited her today but she said to me something,
which I did not like. (Kindly) supplicate ALLAH [S.W.T] that HE may set the mother
of Abu Huraira (R.A) right. Thereupon ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] said:
O ALLAH [S.W.T], set the mother of Abu Huraira (R.A) on the right path. I came out
quite pleased with the supplication of ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] and when
I came near the door it was closed from within. My mother heard the noise of my
footsteps and she said: Abu Huraira (R.A), just wait, and I heard the noise of falling
of water. She took a bath and put on the shirt and quickly covered her head with
a headdress and opened the door and then said: Abu Huraira (R.A), I bear witness
to the fact that there is no god but ALLAH [S.W.T] and Muhammad [S.A.W.S] is HIS
bondsman and HIS Messenger [S.A.W.S]. He (Abu Huraira (R.A)) said: I went back to
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] and (this time) I was shedding the tears of
joy. I said: ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S], be happy, for ALLAH [S.W.T] has
responded to your supplication and HE has set on the right path the mother of Abu
Huraira (R.A). He (the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S]) Praised ALLAH [S.W.T], and Extolled
HIM and uttered good words. I said: ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S], supplicate
to ALLAH [S.W.T] so that HE may instill love of mine and that of my mother too in
the believing servants and let our hearts be filled with their love, whereupon ALLAH
[S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] said: O ALLAH [S.W.T], let there be love of these
servants of yours, i.e. Abu Huraira (R.A) and his mother, in the hearts of the believing
servants and let their hearts be filled with the love of the believing servants.
(Abu Huraira (R.A) said: This prayer) was so well granted by ALLAH [S.W.T] that
no believer was ever born who heard of me and who saw me but did not love me.

No babe is born but upon Fitra. It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian
or a Polytheist. A person said: ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S], what is your
opinion if they were to die before that (before reaching the age of adolescence
when they can distinguish between right and wrong)? He said: It is ALLAH [S.W.T]
Alone WHO knows what they would be doing.

on Saturday and HE created the mountains on Sunday and HE created the trees on Monday
and HE created the things entailing labor on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday
and HE caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam (P.B.U.H) after
'Asr on Friday; the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday, i.e.
between afternoon and night.

(R.A) reported:
ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] as saying: This
verse: "ALLAH grants steadfastness to those who believe with firm word,"
was revealed in connection with the torment of the grave. It would be said to him:
Who is your LORD? And he would say: ALLAH [S.W.T] is my LORD and Muhammad [S.A.W.S]
is my Apostle, and that is (what is implied) by the words of ALLAH [S.W.T], the
EXALTED:" ALLAH keeps steadfast those who believe with firm word in this world
and in the Hereafter."
Jami' at-Tirmidhi: Chapter 1, Book 4: The Book on the Day of Friday, Hadith
4:
Abu Huraira (R.A)
narrated:
"ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] said:
The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam (P.B.U.H) was created,
on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was sent down from it. And in it there
is an hour in which the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat, asking ALLAH
[S.W.T] for anything except that HE would give it to him.'" Abu Huraira (R.A)
said: "I met Abdullah bin Salam (R.A), and I mentioned this Hadith to him.
He said: 'I am more knowledgeable about that hour.' So I said: 'Inform me about
it, and do not keep any of it from me.' He said: 'It is after al-Asr until the sun
has set.' I said: 'How can it be after Al-Asr when ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S]
said: 'the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat.' And that is a time that
prayer is not performed in?" So Abdullah bin Salam (R.A) said: 'Didn't ALLAH
[S.W.T]’s Messenger [S.A.W.S] say: "Whoever sat in a gathering awaiting the
Salat then he is in Salat"? I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Then that is it.'"
Sunan Abi Dawud:
Chapter 1, Book 26: Knowledge (Kitab Al-Ilm), Hadith 1:
Narrated Kathir Ibn
Qays (R.A):
Kathir ibn Qays (R.A) said: I was sitting with
Abud Darda' (R.A) in the Mosque of Damascus. A man came to him and said: Abud Darda
(R.A), I have come to you from the town of the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S]
for a tradition that I have heard you relate from the Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T]
[S.A.W.S]. I have come for no other purpose. He said: I heard the Messenger of ALLAH
[S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] say: If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, ALLAH
[S.W.T] will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The Angels (P.B.U.T)
will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge, the
inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and the fish in the deep waters will ask
forgiveness for the learned man. The superiority of the learned man over the devout
is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars.
The learned are the heirs of the Prophets (P.B.U.T), and the Prophets (P.B.U.T)
leave neither dinar nor dirham, leaving only knowledge, and he who takes it takes
an abundant portion.

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] as saying: I swear on ALLAH

man through your agency than that you should acquire the red ones among the camels.
Sunan Abi Dawud:
Chapter 12, Book 26: Knowledge (Kitab Al-Ilm), Hadith 24:

(R.A):
The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said: If anyone acquires

zakah and hold fast to ALLAH. HE is your PROTECTOR; and excellent is the PROTECTOR,

"Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing
men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and
truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women,
the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the
men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember
ALLAH often and the women who do so - for them ALLAH has prepared forgiveness and
a great reward."
